Exaggerating Bush Walk

"Incredible"what such heavy rain,it was as if the hail was bebe gun bullets just shooting at me.  Before it started raining it was sunny and beautiful.  Me and my Family were supposed to go for a family walk through a bush walk to enjoy a picnic.  While we were there we were getting a little frustrated because my mum had just realised that we took the wrong turn,I was getting scared as we were walking with no cover and getting socked with water I had no idea where we were so we decided to walk back BUT  as we turned around we realised my brother had been lost because he was not with us,OH NO.  I was extremely worried for my brother and so was my Mother.  My Mum had nearly got to the point when she was just going to BURST, berserk.

Me and my mum were asking everyone who passed us, (have you seen a little boy with a blue jacket) and all of these answers were NO.  Then now was when we needed to get the police involved.  My mum had reached into her pocket to call the police but she did not have her phone,so here we were stuck right in the middle of a forest lost as bats and can not find my little brother.  So we wandered off into all the trees and bushes Yelling his name "COWAN",wait I thought I had heard a voice come from the east saying I'M OVER HERE,we headed towards the voice and yes it was him my brother was screaming for help.  Me and my mum sprinted to where we could see my brother.  He had been caught on a old trap that had looked like it been set for catching animals it was unbelieveable.  Once we got him out of the trap we followed a person who looked like he knows his way in this bush,we could see the roads and our car again yaaay we had made it out of this bush it was a huge relief because I never thought we would make out but we did yippy.

A very Muddy Cross Country!!

“Wow” what a day.  On a very sunny friday we had gone out for cross country but a very muddy cross country as well.

So here I am waiting for the right moment “Boom” went the clappers off we went the (12 year old boys left off with a light jog down and around the field.

My leg muscles were aching as we reached half way, I was physically drained of energy.  I was really tempted to stop off  and start to walk, but with the little bit of energy I had left I persevered.  Suddenly I was hit with this sudden burst of energy, I made a quick burst of sprinting energy it was as if I was “FLASH

Every step I took it was just mud, all squishy and gooey.  I could barely make it through the mud squish squish squish, my shoes were covered and soaked by the thick boggy goo.  My skin was coated in the brown gooey mush!

My feet was just getting heavier and heavier I could hardly resist it but I managed to hold on,my legs and my feet were burning I was really struggling for air I kept putting one foot in front of the other I was getting closer and closer.  Just a moment away from the finish line “YEA” here I am running and running for the finish line, yes I have done it.  I was exhausted woow I had just let out a huge sigh of relief.

“Phew, I’m glad it is now over! I said.  So I had left to have a very long drink and catch up on my breath and I looked down at my shoes and they had been covered and socked in mushy, kushy “MUD”!!

Well my highlight for this Cross country Muddy Day is that I had achieved my goal and made into the school interzones which is the top 9 but my goal is to make it in between 5th or 1st place which I came 5th place yippee so I am glad that i've done it.

Life Education

During the past few weeks I have gone out with my classroom to the life Education caravan where we learn to make right or wrong choices for the future and that every good or bad thing leads to a positive or negative consequence.

In the life Education I have been influenced to make good choices and good things may come in the future.

One thing that I found most interesting was that how you could change your life and make a difference from who you really are just by smoking.

Last week we learnt about making bad choices for smoking and it could possibly lead to a very effective and negative consequence later on in the future. The consequence could be really effective just like removing a body part or many different types of cancer that could happen.  Also the large intestines squashes and squeezes then passes the liquid to the small intestines for getting ready to urinate but as for the rest, it turns into faeces.

The Olympic Flag

The olympic rings were made by Baron Pierre  (founder of the modern Olympic Movement) in 1914 after he saw a similar design on an artefact from ancient greece.  The five rings represent the five major regions of the world Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. Every national flag in the world includes at least one of the five colors, which are (from left to right) blue, yellow, black, green, and red.
The white background on the olympic flag represents peace and truth.
